The robust brass casing sits firmly in the stern tube and ensures durable, corrosion-resistant support underwater.

Tip: When pressing in the bearing, make sure that the stern tube is clean, deburred, and dimensionally accurate. Vetus also offers the RULAG with an outer casing made of reinforced phenolic resin – this version is lighter, does not corrode, and is even easier to replace.
