Are North American chart chips compatible with European plotters?
That depends on the plotter model, not the area. Chart chips are manufacturer-specific – a chart for a Garmin plotter will not run on a Raymarine device. Check the product description and compare it with the exact model name of your plotter.
Do the Caribbean charts also cover the Dutch and French islands?
Not every chart package includes all islands. Islands like Martinique, Guadeloupe, or Sint Maarten are geographically located in the Caribbean, but are sometimes included in separate regional packages. The exact coverage is listed in the product description for each product.
How up-to-date is the included chart data – and how often is it updated?
