Deine Fragen / Unsere Antworte

Which SD format do I need for Navionics+ – SD or microSD?
That depends on your chartplotter. Most modern plotters use microSD, while older devices often have a standard SD slot. Check your plotter's manual or inspect the card slot directly – Navionics+ is available in both formats.
Can I use one Navionics+ SD card on multiple plotters simultaneously?
No. A physical Navionics+ card is designed for use on one device. If you want to use the same charts on two plotters, you'll need two cards or use the Navionics app with a subscription that runs on multiple devices.
How current is the chart data on a newly purchased Navionics+ SD card?
New charts contain data current at the time of production. You can update the chart before first use via the free Navionics Chart Installer, provided your subscription is still active. This is worthwhile before every start of the season.
What is the difference between Navionics+ and Navionics Platinum+?
Navionics Platinum+ additionally contains high-resolution sonar charts with particularly fine depth contours – useful especially for anglers and anyone navigating in shallow or unfamiliar waters. For most coastal and blue water sailors, Navionics+ is entirely sufficient.
