Charging two battery banks simultaneously without them discharging each other – that's precisely what the Victron BCD 402 does. The battery combiner automatically distributes the charging current from your alternator or charger to two battery circuits while keeping them electrically isolated from each other.

Note: Battery combiners cause a voltage drop of approx. 0.6–0.7 V. If your charge controller does not offer compensation, Victron recommends increasing the charging voltage accordingly to ensure a full charge.
