Reliable corrosion protection directly on the hull: This teardrop-shaped Vetus zinc anode is firmly welded to the steel hull and permanently protects the underwater hull from electrochemical corrosion. The streamlined teardrop shape minimizes water resistance – ideal for motorboats and workboats with steel hulls.
Tip: Thoroughly protect the weld seam and steel band with suitable underwater paint after welding to prevent crevice corrosion around the attachment. Regularly check the anode for deterioration – at least once per season – and replace it in good time.
