Clean fuel is the basic prerequisite for a trouble-free engine on board. The Vetus water separator/coarse filter type WS reliably separates water and coarse impurities from the fuel flow – before they reach the injection pump or carburetor. Having passed the fire resistance test according to ISO 1008, it is approved for use on boats.
Tip: Install the filter as close to the fuel tank as possible and as vertically as possible – this is the only way for the separated water to be optimally collected and drained in the filter housing. Regular checking and emptying of the water collection tank considerably extends the service life of the subsequent engine filter.
