It belongs to the proven Vetus BL stern tube series and ensures that the stern tube and external bearing remain permanently fixed – even with vibrations and changing operating conditions.
When installing, check whether a second flange is necessary at the inner stern tube end – especially with longer stern tubes, Vetus recommends fixing on both sides for play-free, low-vibration shaft guiding.
