It is part of Vetus' proven BL stern tube series and ensures that the stern tube and external bearing remain permanently fixed - even with vibrations and changing operating conditions.
When installing, check whether a second flange at the inner stern tube end is necessary - especially for longer stern tubes, Vetus recommends fixing on both sides for play-free, low-vibration shaft guiding.
