It belongs to Vetus' proven BL stern tube series and ensures that the stern tube and stern gland remain permanently fixed – even with vibrations and changing operating conditions.
When installing, check whether a second flange is necessary at the inner end of the stern tube – especially with longer stern tubes, Vetus recommends fastening on both sides for play-free, low-vibration shaft guidance.
