Safety and control for high-current consumers on board: The Vetus BPMAIN is the remote-controlled main and emergency switch for bow thrusters, stern thrusters, and anchor windlasses. It can be switched off both electrically via remote control and manually by push-button – thus fulfilling the legally required remote emergency shutdown in many countries.
Tip: If a 24 V bow thruster is connected to a 12 V on-board power supply via a series-parallel switch, the 12 V main switch (this one) should be used – not the 24 V type.
