The reinforced phenolic resin casing with an internal rubber guide makes the bearing lighter than classic bronze bearings – and can be effortlessly replaced at the next shipyard visit.
When installing, ensure that the bearing sits completely and evenly in the stern tube. For a correct fit, it is recommended to slightly freeze the bearing before pressing it in.
