Sacrificial protection for your outboard motor: This zinc anode from Tecnoseal reliably protects the metal parts of your Mercury or Mariner outboard motor from galvanic corrosion. Mounted as a rudder fin, it sacrifices itself for the expensive aluminum of the engine – indispensable in salt and brackish water.

Tip: Replace zinc anodes when they have corroded down to about 50% of their original mass – don't wait until the winter season if you regularly operate in saltwater.
