Shore power at the dock is convenient – but it also opens a path for galvanic currents that can silently destroy propellers, saildrives, rudder systems, and bronze valves. The Sterling Power ProSave reliably interrupts this corrosion circuit in the protective conductor, thus protecting all metallic underwater components of your boat.
Select the ProSave according to at least the rated current of your shore power connection – for a 16-A socket, at least the ProSave 16 A, for a 32-A CEE connection, at least the ProSave 32 A. For installation locations with splash water or high humidity, one of the waterproof C- or *-variants is recommended.
