Flushing the engine without having to put the boat in the water: The Gotthardt flushing sleeve connects your garden hose directly to the inboard engine's cooling water circuit and supplies the engine with fresh circulating water on land. This allows salt, sand and dirt to be reliably flushed out of the cooling system – ideal after every season or after trips in salty or brackish water.
Tip: After flushing, let the engine run for a few more seconds while you turn off the water – this will pump out any remaining water from the circuit and minimise corrosion caused by standing residual water.
