Steel in the hull disrupts any ordinary compass needle – but not the Silva 100NBC-S. This binnacle compass is specially designed for use on steel boats and comes with two compensators to precisely offset magnetic deviations. This ensures it reliably shows the correct course, even if your vessel is made of steel.

Tip: After installation, have the deviation measured and recorded by an experienced compass adjuster – even the best built-in compensators only achieve their full effect after careful adjustment.
