Connecting two PL-259 plugs directly – the Scout PL-258 does exactly that. The nickel-plated barrel connector reliably extends or connects VHF antenna cables on board with low loss. The brass inner conductor ensures stable electrical contact even in harsh onboard conditions.

Tip: Seal connections on deck or near water with self-amalgamating tape or heat shrink tubing to prevent long-term corrosion in the connector area.
