When two sheaves in one housing have to perform more than two individual blocks: The Rutgerson Violin Block combines high load capacity and smooth running in a compact design. Thanks to high-strength composite material on the sides and sheaves, it is designed for permanent use on board – even under high dynamic loads.
Tip: Choose the series based on the rope diameter and the expected working load – not just the sheave size. For plain bearing blocks under high, slow loads, the advantage over ball bearings lies in the robust, low-maintenance design.
