When sheets and halyards need to be securely fastened yet quickly released, this block does the job: The Rutgerson single-sheave plain bearing block with integrated cleat and under-shackle combines deflection and cleating in one compact, high-strength component. High-strength composite material on the sides and sheave endures even in rough conditions.

Tip: When choosing the series, pay attention to the rope diameter – the sheave should have a diameter of at least four times the rope's diameter to minimize rope wear.
