No more dripping stuffing boxes: The PSS Shaft Seal Type A is a low-maintenance mechanical face seal that provides a completely watertight seal for your propeller shaft. It reliably compensates for misalignments, vibrations, and the axial fore-and-aft movement caused by propeller thrust – with no dripping water in the bilge.

Tip: Correct bellow pre-compression is crucial for flawless function. After installation, check the bellow compression and ensure that the rotor's set screws are on clean, degreased shaft metal. After the first few hours of operation, recheck all hose clamps for a tight fit.
