No more dripping stuffing box: The PSS Type A is a mechanical face seal that keeps your propeller shaft completely dry. The sealing surface is created between a rotating stainless steel rotor and a stationary carbon flange – low-wear, easy to maintain, and absolutely watertight. Whether forward or reverse movement due to propeller thrust, the system reliably compensates for axial displacements.

Tip: When installing, pre-tension the bellows correctly according to the installation instructions – this is the only way to ensure constant contact between the rotor and the carbon flange and thus a permanently reliable seal. Tighten the hose clamps firmly and evenly.
