When it counts, the SOC holds. The Plastimo SOC plow anchor, made of galvanized cast steel, provides above-average holding power in sand, mud, and mixed bottoms – reliably for boats up to 17 m. Its classic plow shape digs in immediately when pulled and holds securely even with changing wind directions.
Tip: For first use, intentionally let the anchor dig in once or twice and then retrieve it to get a feel for its holding behavior in the respective bottom. A chain length of at least three times the water depth significantly improves the digging angle and thus the holding power.
