Safely loaded ashore: The Philippi LAE 205 reliably protects the supply line between shore power inlet and shore connection unit from overload and short circuit. It is indispensable whenever the cable length from the jetty to the ship is more than 3 m - because then the standard prescribes a separate fuse.
Tip: Before installation, check the actual cable length from the jetty box to the shore connection unit. If it is more than 3 m, the LAE 205 is mandatory - for shorter distances, the fuse in the jetty box takes over the protective function.
