It starts automatically with the correct GMDSS presets as soon as the battery is connected and can be operated safely even with survival gloves. Whether as a pure emergency radio or as a complete set for daily on-board operations – the V200 covers all requirements for maritime communication.

Tip: Check the battery sticker regularly – as long as it is undamaged, you'll know immediately that the primary battery is still unused and ready for operation. Note the installation date and replace the battery after 5 years at the latest.
