Relieve your anchor windlass and protect the gearbox: This chain stopper from Gotthardt securely holds the anchor chain to the bitt or bow fitting once the anchor is deployed. The robust construction made of A4 stainless steel (AISI 316 / 1.4401) withstands saltwater and continuous stress.

Tip: Regularly check if the retractable pawl pin is still moving freely, and if necessary, preserve it with acid-free grease – this will maintain its function even after years in saltwater.
