Jabsco pumps are available in various sizes to suit different needs. The required capacity must be assessed according to the onboard requirements. This includes factors such as the number of taps and whether toilets are connected to the pressurized water system. A pressurized water pump operates with a pressure switch that activates the pump when the pressure drops. The pressure drops when you open a tap, and the pump starts immediately afterward, pumping water. When the tap is closed, the pressure in the hose increases, and the pump stops. If you want to use some water without necessarily activating the pump, a pressure tank can be advantageously installed in the system. This allows you to turn off the tap first, without the pump needing to start before the pressure drops. The Par-Max 1 is supplied with 6 mm and 10 mm nozzles.
