Garmin OnDeck System
Garmin offers OnDeck, a comprehensive steering and control system for boats.
From now on, all necessary and up-to-date boat data can be accessed around the clock. In combination with the ActiveCaptain app, the user can monitor, among other things, the battery status, all bilge activity, door and hatch sensors, and GPS location, thus maintaining full control of the boat even when away.
For added security, custom alarms and notifications inform the owner if the boat is entered without authorization or moved out of the previously defined area (geofencing).
Furthermore, the system integrates sensors for, for example, doors, temperature detectors, shore power, and thus accesses all selected devices and systems via app.
- Remote monitoring: Security sensors and user-defined alarms notify you as soon as the boat is entered or moved.
- Seamless integration: can be integrated into existing on-board systems as well as a standalone system without an additional multifunction display.
- OnDeck Hub: Control of up to five individual boat systems
- Cloud Storage: secure storage of all captured data for 30 days
- Monitor: Monitoring of battery, bilge activity, shore power supply, temperature, door and hatch sensors
- 24/7 access: All boat data can be accessed around the clock via 3G/4G network (active usage package required, please contact your provider)
- Backup battery: enables 48-hour access to OnDeck even in the event of a main battery or power supply failure.
