Garmin GHS 11i handheld control unit
The Garmin GHS 11i control unit provides access to all functions of the Garmin VHF 215i and VHF 315i radios. It features easy operation via soft keys and a 2-inch dot-matrix display. The control unit connects to the main unit with a coiled cable that can be extended from 30 cm (1 foot) to 1.5 m (5 feet).
A rotary/push knob adjusts the volume, noise reduction, and channels. There is also a dedicated button for channels 16 and 9. All buttons and knobs are similar to those on the main unit.
The GHS 11i is also equipped with a microphone that supports intercom functions when the main unit is connected to a speaker.
