This way, you'll have wind, water depth, speed, and water temperature in view from the very first day of sailing.
Tip: Route the 25m mast cable carefully and with strain relief through the mast before stepping it – retrofitting it later will take significantly more time. The gWind sensor's optical measurement method is contactless and low-maintenance; nevertheless, an annual check for contamination of the optics is worthwhile.
