Lie still, even when things get rough: This Gotthardt mooring line combines three-strand twisted rope with an integrated spring shock absorber that gently cushions jerks and impacts. The integrated webbing safety line ensures that the mooring line does not exceed its maximum length even under extreme load – a crucial protection for cleats, bollards and the hull.
Tip: As a rule of thumb, the diameter of the mooring line should be about 1 mm per foot of boat length. For a 40-foot yacht, a 14 mm mooring line would be a good starting point – for heavy or wind-susceptible boats, choose one size larger.
