Brilliant wood, built to last: Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish protects teak, mahogany, and other fine woods on board with a high-gloss finish that shines deep. Thanks to an extra UV filter, it slows down the fading and greying that sun and saltwater inflict on any unprotected wood. A classic among boat builders and sailors – proven on railings, coamings, handrails, and cockpit fittings.
For optimum durability, apply several thin coats and lightly sand each coat. For new wood, a first very thinned primer coat is recommended so that the varnish can penetrate deep into the wood.
