29 HP of true marine power for lifeboats and professional marine applications: The BUKH DV29 RME was developed from the ground up as a marine engine – not a converted industrial engine, but true marine quality. In combination with the PRM125 reversing gearbox (3:1 reduction ratio), you deliver power to the shaft precisely, with low vibration and low noise.
Tip: Thanks to the open flywheel, various SOLAS-approved starting systems can be retrofitted or combined – contact us if you need a specific starting configuration.
