Without the correct termination resistors, no NMEA 2000 network will run reliably. This male terminator from 1852 provides a clean 120-ohm termination at an open connector end of the backbone – ensuring that signals on the bus remain stable and are not reflected.

Tip: An NMEA 2000 network requires exactly two terminators – one at each end of the backbone. Too many or missing resistors are a common source of errors during commissioning.
