Reliably protect the metal parts of your propulsion system from galvanic corrosion – with the flat aluminum anode from 1852. The special aluminum alloy remains active longer than conventional zinc anodes, and is significantly lighter and more environmentally friendly. Thanks to the integrated tabs, it can be easily attached to the hull, shaft, or other underwater metal parts.
Tip: Do not paint over aluminum anodes with antifouling paint – this is the only way for the electrochemical protective effect to work unhindered. When changing seasons, check whether the anode still has at least 50% of its mass; if it is more severely degraded, it should be replaced.
