Strong Wi-Fi signal on the water: The Scout KS-61 is an omnidirectional fiberglass antenna for the 2.4 GHz band with a gain of 10 dBi – and receives marina Wi-Fi and hot spots much further than a standard stubby antenna. In combination with the Scout Rocket modem (sold separately), it creates a powerful onboard solution for reliable internet connections, even at a distance.

Tip: The higher the antenna is mounted – for example, on the mast, on the cabin top, or on the aft bollard – the clearer the line of sight to the hot spot and the better the range. Keep the coaxial cable as short as possible to minimize cable loss.
