The rigging twine trusted by many sailmakers: Marlow No. 8 is a waxed, twisted polyester twine that is easy to work with thanks to its smooth surface and holds reliably. Whether tying whippings, whipping ropes, or hand-sewing sailcloth – this twine makes the work clean and durable.

When whipping rope ends, pull the last loop of twine firmly under the wrapped layers – the wax coating ensures that the twine does not break and the whipping remains taut.
