SOLAS-approved emergency light made of orange-red plastic. The night light is thrown after a person who has fallen overboard; it rights itself automatically, thus activating the light.
The light bulb has an E10 base, 4.8 volts and 0.75 amps. The continuous light has a luminous intensity of 2 candela and a minimum operating time of 2 hours.
A lanyard can be threaded through the eyelet at the bottom of the lifebuoy light, allowing the emergency light to be connected to a life ring.
Supplied without batteries and without holder. Requires 4 alkaline batteries, 1.5 volts, type UM1 (LR20).
