Cortex V1 VHF marine radio with SOTDMA smart AIS transponder and wired handheld remote control
Cortex by Vesper Marine is the world's first VHF marine radio with a smartphone-like, wireless touchscreen control unit (also available wired), integrated AIS transponder and extensive (remote) monitoring capabilities for boat data.
The innovative combination of a VHF marine radio with a touchscreen control unit and AIS transponder ensures greater safety and significantly simplifies radio communication. For example, simply select another vessel on the control unit's touchscreen display with a fingertip, press "Call," and a direct DSC call is immediately initiated.
The control unit provides a clear visual display of AIS signals in the vicinity and clearly marks potential collision risks. An audible alarm also sounds. The anchor alarm function not only alerts those on board: if the black box is equipped with a SIM card, the alarm can also be received on land via the Cortex app. Features and specifications of the Cortex V1.
The Cortex V1 set, consisting of the M1 black box and the H1 wired handheld control unit, innovatively combines the functionalities of a VHF marine radio with DSC/ATIS and an AIS transponder. In addition, the M1 black box offers a wide range of control and switching options (including remote control via the Vesper Cortex app when a SIM card is used in the black box). Besides the M1 and H1, the set includes a GPS antenna, a Wi-Fi antenna, and separate power and audio cables for connection.
