The matching base plate securely anchors your Kingpin™ seat pedestal system in the boat. It forms the lower half of Springfield's proven removable seat mounting system and allows you to install your seat at two different heights – without any tools.

Tip: Before assembly, make sure the base plate lies flat on the deck – this ensures the pedestal and seat lock securely into place and prevents stress peaks.
