Where rust has taken hold, Owatrol Marine Oil penetrates deeply: The transparent oil displaces air and moisture directly from the rust structure, stopping the attack from within. This way, even existing rust becomes a stable base for a durably adhering paint finish.
Tip: Mechanically remove loose and flaking rust before application. Owatrol Marine Oil can also be mixed directly into some 1-component paints to improve their adhesion to rust – observe manufacturer's instructions.
