So that your charger always knows what's really going on in the battery bank: WhisperPower's battery temperature sensor reports the current battery temperature directly to the charger or inverter charger – for temperature-compensated, battery-preserving charging. The 1.5 m long cable gives you enough room for a clean installation in the onboard area.

Tip: Attach the sensor as centrally as possible to the side of the battery – not directly to the terminal – to measure the most representative temperature and avoid distortions due to contact heat.
