So that your Webasto Air Top parking heater measures the cabin temperature where it really counts: The external temperature sensor records the actual temperature at a freely selectable point inside the boat and provides the heater with precise control values – for consistent warmth instead of overheating or underheating.

Tip: Do not mount the sensor near ventilation outlets or in direct drafts – a sheltered, representative point at head height provides the most reliable control values.
