Charge two battery banks simultaneously without them discharging each other – the Argodiode 160-2AC makes it possible. The diode isolator from Victron Energy distributes the charging current from the alternator or charger to up to two independent batteries and reliably prevents any reverse current. This ensures your starter battery always remains full while the house battery is charged separately.

Note: Diode isolators cause a voltage drop of approx. 0.6–0.7 V. Adjust the output voltage of your alternator or charger accordingly (regulator to approx. 14.4–14.5 V for 12 V systems) so that the batteries are fully charged.
