Separate starter and house batteries without having to worry about reverse current flow: Victron Energy's Argodiode 100-3AC distributes the charging current from your alternator to up to three independent batteries simultaneously. Thanks to Schottky diode technology, each battery is protected against discharge by the others – reliably and without moving parts.
Note: Diodes create a voltage drop of approximately 0.5–0.7 V. To ensure your batteries are fully charged, Victron recommends connecting the alternator regulator to the Sense terminal of the Argodiode or increasing the charging voltage at the alternator accordingly.
