Reliably protect your propeller shaft from galvanic corrosion: This Vetus shaft anode made of zinc encloses the 30mm shaft in two halves and sacrifices itself so that the expensive metal underneath remains undamaged. An integrated locking system ensures that the anode remains firmly seated on the shaft, even in an advanced state of erosion.

Check the anode for its degree of erosion at least once per season. You should replace it at the latest when it has eroded to about 50% of its original volume – although the integrated locking system holds it securely, an anode that is too heavily eroded no longer provides sufficient protection.
