Solid connection between pipe thread and hose: This Vetus hose barb with G 1½″ female thread creates a permanently tight, corrosion-resistant connection on board. Made of AISI 316 stainless steel, it is ideally suited for use in saltwater environments.

Tip: When screwing it in, use thread sealing tape (PTFE) and secure the hose with a stainless steel hose clamp – this prevents leaks and loosening due to vibrations.
