Robust connection between pipe and hose: This Vetus brass hose barb reliably connects a 25 mm hose to the onboard system via a G 1″ male thread. Brass is the proven material for marine fittings – resistant to saltwater and durable in continuous onboard operation.

For continuous use in saltwater, Vetus explicitly recommends the use of brass fittings. When screwing in, ensure you use PTFE tape or suitable sealant on the thread to ensure a permanent, leak-free connection.
