As a genuine marine fitting made of bronze, it remains permanently leak-proof, even in continuous contact with salt and fresh water.
Tip: When screwing in, use thread sealing tape (PTFE) and secure the hose with a suitable hose clamp - this will ensure a permanently tight connection.
