The P4E is Vetus' proven 4-blade fixed propeller for classic motor yacht and motor sailer propulsion. With 21″ diameter and 14″ pitch, it efficiently extracts the thrust from your propulsion system – and the fourth blade ensures quiet, low-vibration operation.
Before installation, check that the shaft taper and keyway are thoroughly degreased and free of corrosion. Tighten the shaft nut to the torque recommended by the boat builder and secure it with a castle nut or shaft locking device – this will ensure the propeller is free of play and can be easily removed during the next shipyard visit.
