When corrosion resistance and smooth running are paramount, this Vetus propeller shaft makes no compromises. Made from Duplex stainless steel 1.4462 – an alloy that reliably withstands continuous contact with saltwater – it is fully machined and ready for immediate installation. The included zinc anode provides additional protection against galvanic corrosion.

Tip: When installing, carefully check the alignment of the shaft with the coupling and stern tube – even the smallest angular offsets noticeably increase vibration and bearing wear. Regularly inspect and replace the zinc anode in good time before it is completely depleted.
