Tip: When pressing in the bearing, ensure that the stern tube is cleanly deburred and correctly aligned – even small offsets significantly increase wear on the rubber and shaft. For easier disassembly during the next shipyard visit, you can alternatively choose the corrosion-free phenolic resin version.
